šŸ¦ƒ Thankful is an Understatement

Volume 25 | Pulse of The Nation

I was told last monthā€™s intro sounded like I used ChatGPT. The sad reality of that accusation is that I wrote it all myself. Which I guess means I sound too robotic? So hereā€™s to trying to be more human this month Elevation Nation.

Speaking of being human, Parker and I love to use the Thanksgiving break as a time to express our gratitude. For many, Thanksgiving is a reminder to express gratitude. Itā€™s pretty sad we need a holiday once a year to remind us of this.

Thatā€™s why Parker and I have been pushing each other to practice our gratitude as part of our everyday life. In fact, gratitude is proven to help humans in many aspects of life, even our immune systems! (Sood, 2009; Emmons,2010)

So this flu season, help prevent the spread of germs by practicing gratitude each and every day, not just on Thanksgiving!

Take that ChatGPT!

Elevator Spotlight

Shining a light on accomplishments throughout Elevation Nation

Ok, last month I said we donā€™t like to brag about ourselvesā€¦ I lied. Weā€™re spotlighting Elevators 0 and 0 again (me and Parker).

This month, we were invited to keynote at Camp Collab in Atlanta. Three full days of incredible networking, learning and pickleball helped elevate our spirits. We had the opportunity to share our Mental Motto workshop with camp owners and directors from across the country.

The spirit and purpose behind camp reminded us why we are so passionate about elevating the young adults of the future. We cannot wait to help elevate counselors and campers throughout the US this summer as we take our workshop to many of these camps!

(Also, in case you were wondering, I beat Parker in pickleball)

Thank you to the entire Camp Collab team and the countless friends we made for such a special week!
