š Take a Chance | Pulse Of The Nation
Volume 21
Everyday, our brains process decisions weighing the pros and cons. It is human nature. Embedded in our DNA š§¬. Our fight or flight mode is waiting to be activated. Our anxiety races as we think through scenarios that could occur and prepare ourselves for them.
However, in todayās day and age, we are lucky. We arenāt running from a Saber Tooth Tiger or trying to make a fire. Instead, today our decisions, anxiety and thinking center around our careers, reputations and social media.
Itās easy to say, āstop stressingā or ādonāt be afraid to failā. It is another thing to put that into practice.
I believe in strategic chances. There is an advantageous time to quit your job and go all in on a startup. There is a creative way to go to school and get a paycheck. There are ways to get yourself in the room with people you want to meet. There are ways to educate yourself with low risk.
In 2024, the possibilities for our lives are endless and people like Gary Vee consistently stress the need for young people to take a chance. Iām, of course, all for it (heck, we took a chance starting Elevation Nation), but that being said, there are strategic ways to enhance your chances.
So before you jump all in and take that leap of faith. Take a minute to think through the options you have for a strategic chance. It may be more advantageous than you think.
