🔄 Reset Yourself | Pulse Of The Nation

Volume 13

Beep. Buzz. Ding. Ping. The nonstop annoyance of modern society all compete for our multitasking attention. From emails to texts, phone calls, and notifications, the amount of information seeking our attention seems to be never-ending.

Even during “time off” we are glued to our devices. Social media consumes our attention, vibrating once again and as soon as we get it in our pockets. Sometimes our brains even think we felt a vibration just to check our phone and see nothing.

The modern human is programmed to consistently and incessantly check our technology for updates. This is why now more than ever, we need to perform a factory reset on ourselves. This past weekend, Parker and I made a mandatory mutual agreement to go a full 24 hours without our phones. And afterward, I felt more connected, refreshed, and reset than ever. Sometimes Elevating requires a reset.

Elevator Spotlight

Shining a light on accomplishments throughout Elevation Nation

🍾 Elevator no. 78 Rahul Vinod is in celebration mode! His restaurant group RASA, a fast-casual Indian restaurant taking over the DMV won “Favorite Fast Bites” in the 2023 RAMMY Awards presented by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington. The awards highlight the best and brightest in the culinary world across the DMV. And it is no surprise to us that Rasa collected some hardware 🏆. ...

Both Parker and I have been known to frequent RASA restaurants prior to some of our most impactful DC brainstorming sessions for Elevation Nation. The only thing missing in this culinary empire is a new location within 🚶 walking distance of Parker’s Manhattan apartment. Cheers to your success Rahul and the RASA team!
